NIGERIA: PRESIDENT BUHARI VOWS TO RECOVER STOLEN FUNDS

President Muhammadu  Buhari has vowed to recover all stolen funds from government covers from the past administration.
He said this while speaking at the maiden meeting with state governors at the state house .
Buhari said his administration has received assurances of co-operation from United States and other countries in the recovering and repatriation of funds stolen from Nigeria.
The meeting was at the instance of the state governors who wanted to address the economic situation of some states which has led to the non payment of workers salaries.
Buhari said a committee headed by Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo will be set to look at the Excess Crude Account and see what can be shared among the states.
