NIGERIA : SENATOR ALI NDUME NOMINATED MAJORITY LEADER IN THE SENATE

Senators of All Progressive Congress (APC), North-East caucus have nominated Ali Ndume as Majority Leader of the senate against the party's nominated candidate, Ahmed Lawan.
Bala ibn Na'allah was nominated as Deputy Leader as against George Akume nominated by APC.
People see this as victory for Senate President, Bukola Saraki's loyalists.
Ahmed Lawan it will be reacalled lost senate presidency elections to Bukola Saraki though he was the ruling party's choice.
These nominations are subject to approval.
