Comfort Yinusa who is a London based underground worker made a 5am false report in October 2013 that she was assaulted by an accountant and his friend .
The truth however came out when police went through the CCTV and mobile evidence to expose all of her lies.
One of the men was supposed to pick her up and he unfortunately forgot where he packed his car and wasted sometime in coming to pick her up and she got angry and falsely accused him and his friend of rape.
The two men accused of rape were put through the humiliation of spending 14 and 16 hours respectively in police custody. One of the men said he felt humiliated and stigmatised following the false accusation.
During the course of investigation, Comfort Tinusa dodged medical examination, didnot turn up for police interviews and later told police she wanted to close the case after having wasted more than 100 hours of police time.
