ACTOR OMAR SHARIF IS DEAD

Egyptian born actor Omar Sharif  best known for his classic films, Doctor Zhivago and Lawrence of Arabia has died at the age of 83.
Sharif won two Golden Globe awards and an Oscar nomination for his role as Sherif Ali in David Sean's 1962 epic film, Lawrence of Arabia..
He also won Golden Globe awards for Doctor Zhivago.
His agent Steve Kenis earlier this year confirmed he had been diagnosed with alzheimer disease. He is said to have suffered a heart attack this afternoon in a hospital in Cairo.
