LEWIS HAMILTON TURNED AWAY FROM ROYAL BOX AT WIMBLEDON FOR NOT WEARING JACKET AND TIE

Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton was invited to sit at the Royal Box on Sunday to watch the Wimbledon Men's final between Roger Federer and Novak Djokovik. Unfortunately he didnot wear a jacket and tie but a casual floral shirt with a hat which does not meet the requirement for sitting at the Royal box and as such he was barred from sitting there.
Hamilton was supposed to sit with the likes of Anna Wintour and Benedict Cumberbatch to watch Novak Djokovic beat Roger Federer in the finals.
Meanwhile,  Lewis had posted on his Instagram page on his way to the finals,
"On my way to Wimbledon to watch the final. Honoured to have been invited to watch the men's finals from the Royal Box".
Men who are invited to the exclusive Royal box must wear a jacket, tie and shoes but Lewis turned up in a flashy outfit with camel-coloured suede shoes with a hat.
A Wimbledon Spokesman said on Lewis being barred from the Royal Box,
"If he was not adequately dressed you could infer that he would not have been let in, but we do not comment on our guests. If he came without a jacket, tie or shoes he would have had two choices-not staying or going to get some extra stuff".
Lewis watched the finals from a hospitality area inside centre court.
We guess you learn new things everyday!!!! We love his outfit though!!!
