MERS UPDATE AS AT JULY 2ND 2015

South Korea has reported a new case of MERS after 4 consecutive days of no infection. This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 183 since it was first detected in May. The total number of deaths remains at 33.
The latest patient is a female nurse who is said to have contracted the disease from Seoul Hospital where 88 people are said to have contracted the disease.
As at Thursday, 2238 people were under quarantine.
