MEXICAN DRUG LORD, JOAQUIN GUZMAN ESCAPES FROM JAIL THROUGH AN ELABORATE TUNNEL

Mexican Drug lord, Joaquin Guzman, one of the world's most wanted drug lords escaped on Saturday through an elaborate tunnel built by his associates.
As the head of Sinaloe Cartel, he is accused of overseeing the smuggling of large quantities of drugs to and fro United States from South and Central America. He was declared Public Enemy Number One by the Chicago Crime Commission in 2013 and had been indicted by more than 7 Federal District Courts. He was facing charges of arms trafficking, money laundering, racketeering in courts in Arizona and Texas.
The elaborate nature of the tunnel built by his associates creates suspicion that prison official might have been involved in helping him escape.
