Stephen Keshi who was sacked in July and replaced by Sunday Oliseh has written to the NFF through his lawyers demanding the money as compensation, claiming damages for defamation.
NFF however believe that Stephen's claim lacks merit and that the body will not be forced to pay him such an amount.
It will be recalled that Stephen Keshi was sacked after the NFF disciplinary committee made several allegations about him and Stephen is doing everything to protect his image, reputation and profile in football circles.
Stephen is yet to take the case to court hoping that this will be solved amicably.
