NIGERIA: PRESIDENT BUHARI AND HIS DEPUTY OSINBAJO TAKE 50% PAY CUT

The Presidency announced on Friday that President Muhammadu Buhari and his deputy, Professor, Yemi Osinbajo have agreed to take 50% pay cut.
The Permanent Secretary of the State House wrote to the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation on Thursday,
"I write to forward the completed IPPIS registration form of Mr. President and to draw your kind attention to Mr. President's directive that only 50% of his salary be paid to him".
The Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo also agreed to take a pay cut. Both the President and the Vice President wll now receive 50% of their salary.
