NIGERIA: PRESIDENT BUHARI CONVENES NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING OF APC

President Mohammed Buhari on Friday, 3rd July held a National Executive Committee meeting  with All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftains, National Assembly leaders and governors at the party's national secretariat in Abuja.
In his opening remarks at the meeting, Buhari advised lawmakers and members of the APC to put their personal interest aside and do the bidding of the party.
Buhari was quoted as saying,
"Whatever your personal interests, put them in your pocket. Let APC work. I appeal to you to accept the superiority of the party. I cannot confine myself in Sambisa forest and refuse to participate in the meeting because I respect the superiority of the party".
