NIGERIA: PRESIDENT BUHARI SACKS CHIEFS OF ARMY, NAVY AND AIRFORCE

President Muhammadu Buhari has on Monday sacked the Chiefs of  Army, Navy and Airforce according to a spokesman from the presidency.

The sacked chiefs include, Chief of Army Staff, Lt-Gen. Kenneth Minimah, The Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Usman Jibrin and Air Chief Marshall, Alex Badeh.
Buhari had among other promises said that the tackling of Boko Haram menace would be a priority. In the light of this, the move had been anticipated by many.
