NIGERIA: DR. EMMANUEL IBE KACHIKWU APPOINTED NEW GROUP MANAGING DIRECTOR OF NNPC

Dr. Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu was on Tuesday appointed the new Group Managing director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu takes over from his predecessor, Dr. Joseph Dawha.
Kachikwu before his appointment was Executive Vice Chairman of Exxon Mobil (Africa).
Kachikwu is a First Class Graduate of Law from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and has a Masters and Doctorate degree in Law from the Harvard Law School.
He is married with children.
