NIGERIAN ARMY CAPTURES BOKO HARAM COMMANDER AND RESCUES 178 IN BORNO

Nigerian troops of 21 Brigade together with forces from the 151 Task Force Battalion of 7 Division, Nigerian Army conducted an offensive against Boko Haram militants along Aulari in Bama axis of Borno State.
178 captives were rescued in the operation and a Boko Haram commander who is currently undergoing interrogation was captured.
The troops successfully cleared terrorist camps in Fadan, Alikashiri, Kaizamari-Kanuri and Kalzamari-Shuwa.
101 children, 67 women, 10 men were amng the 178 captives rescued.
Nigerian troops recovered three Boko Haram flags while five motor cycles were burnt.
