PRESIDENT BUHARI APPOINTS AHMED LAWAN KURU AS NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR OF AMCON

Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has dissolved the management team of Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) and has replaced the Managing Director, Mustafa Chike-Obi with Ahmed Lawan Kuru.
Buhari also appointed Kola Ayeye, Eberechukwu Uneze and Aminu Ismail as the new executive directors of the corporation.
Ahmed Lawan Kuru was until his appointment the Group Managing Director of Enterprise Bank Ltd.
Enterprise Bank has been purchased by Heritage Bank.
