EBOLA: LIBERIA DECLARED EBOLA FREE FOR A SECOND TIME

The World Health Organisation, (WHO) has on Thursday declared Liberia Ebola free for the second time this year.
Liberia was initially declared Ebola free on May 9th but a teen contracted the disease and died late June. Six cases were later discovered between June and July and two including the teen died of the virus.
42 days has now passed since the last infected patient tested negative for the Ebola virus and as such WHO has declared Liberia Ebola free for the second time.
42 days represents two maximum incubation periods.
