WILL SMITH ACTS AS A NIGERIAN DOCTOR IN NEW MOVIE, 'CONCUSSION'

Hollywood star, Will Smith acted as a Nigerian, Dr. Bennet Omalu, a real life Nigerian-born pathologist and neuropathologist in new movie, 'Concussion'.
Dr. Bennet Omalu it was who discovered the connection between brain trauma and NFL after performing autopsy on former NFL player, Mike Webster.
The movie is slated to be released during christmas 2015. The movie was directed by Peter Landesman as well as stars Nigerian-British actor, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje who played the part of Dave Duerson, the former Chicago Bear player who committed suicide at the age of 50 in 2011 by shooting himself in the chest so that his brain could be left to researchers studying head injuries among players at Boston University's Center for the Study of Traumatic Encephalopathy.
The researchers found out that Duerson's brain actually had traumatic encephalopathy.
The first trailer of the movie, 'Concussion' arrived on Monday, however fans have panned Will Smith on his Nigerian accent.
