ARMED PROTESTERS TAKE OVER A BUILDING IN A FEDERAL WILD LIFE REFUGE IN OREGON

 
Armed anti- government protesters have taken over a building in a federal wildlife refuge in Oregon accusing officials of punishing ranchers unfairly who refuse to sell their land.

Ammon Bundy, 40, son of Nevada rancher , Cliven Bundy is one of the protesters and he vaquely says they are there to restore peoples constitutional rights.

The group is occupying a part of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge near burns after gathering outside for a demonstration to support ranchers Dwight and Steven Hammond, father and son convicted of arson.

Prosecutors said the Hammonds set fire in 2001 that burnt 130 acres to cover up poaching. They were sentenced to 5 years imprisonment.
UPDATE:
Oregun ranchers , Dwight and Steven Hammond whose arrest sparked militia standoff have surrendered to Federal prison in California.
