JEREMY CLARKSON STIRS CONTROVERSY WITH HIS COMMENTS ON TRANSGENDER PEOPLE

Former 'Top Gear' presenter, Jeremy Clarkson, 55, who is not new to making controversial statements has caused a stir with his comments on transgender people.
Jeremy in his article on Sunday Times says problems faced by transgender people is overstated.

In his article titled ,'Trangender issues are driving me nuts,"
He wrote,
"As far as I was concerned, men who want to be women were only really to be found on the internet or in the seedier bits of Bangkok".

"They were called ladyboys, and in my mind they were nothing more than the punchline in a stag night anecdote".

Jeremy went further to castigate parents of transgender people as well as trans prisoners.

Talking of parents of a trangender child whom he referred to as "friends of friends" who  he says had indulged on the child's whim when she expresssed doubt about her sexuality, he wrote,

"But they must not, and I was going to emphasise this with spittle, be allowed to poison the mind of a child".

Social media users were outraged as some called him disgusting and that he knows nothing about the struggles of trans people.

Others wrote that he relies on 'controversial' offence just to remain relevant and be in the spolight.
