BRISTOW HELICOPTER CRASHES INTO LAGOS LAGOON, ALL 11 OCCUPANTS RESCUED

A Bristow Helicopter coming from PortHarcourt to Lagos with eleven occupants on board crashed into the Lagos Lagoon today, Wednesday, 3rd February, 2016.
Fortunately all eleven occupants are said to be safe. Bristow Helicopters Nigeria Limited has made official statement on the incidence.

The statement below,

"The aircraft, a Sikorsky S-76C++ had departed on a routine crew transfer flight offshore with nine passengers and a crew of two."

"All persons onboard are accounted for and in the process of being tranferred to a nearby installation. The company is in the process of collecting pertinent information and will release more details as soon as it is available"

Bristow Helicopters Nigeria Limited claims that the aircraft was involved in water landing not that it crashed.

In August 2015, a Bristow helcopter crashed into the same Lagos Lagoon killing 6 of its 12 occupants.
