ELTON JOHN AND MOM RECONCILE AFTER EIGHT-YEAR BITTER FEUD

Legendary singer, Elton John, 68, had not spoken to his mom, Sheila in eight years after a bitter fall-out in 2008.
However both have reconciled as confirmed by Elton as he said on Friday, "We are now back in touch".

Elton confirmed that he and his mom have been in touch for weeks now.

Elton said,
"Out of respect for my mother's privacy, I have always shied away from speaking publicly about our relationship"
"I won't be commenting further on this" he added.

Elton John and mom got into an explosive feud after Sheila, 90, refused to cut ties with Elton's oldest friends, Bob Hailey and John Reid after Elton fell out with them.

John Reid was Elton's former manager who helped guide the early stages of his career.

It has emerged that Elton last month paid 30,000 pounds for Sheila's double hip replacement surgery.

Sheila and Elton were incredibly close before the feud. It is hoped that they can build back the bond they once had.
