FRED AMATA EMERGES NATIONAL PRESIDENT OF DIRECTORS' GUILD OF NIGERIA (DGN)

Prolific film Director, Fred Amata has emerged as the National President of Directors' Guild of Nigeria (DGN) at an election deemed free and fair held at Tourist Resort Hotel in Asaba, Delta State.
The election was presided over by Chairman of the National Electoral Committee (DGN, NEC), Fidelis Duker.

Fred Amata contested against other prolific directors, Lancelot Imasuen, Kingsley Omoefe and Dickson Iroegbu who later withdrew and gave his support to Fred.

Fred poled 48 votes to beat his closest rival Lancelot who got 43 votes.
