PHOTOS: A TINY BABY PULLED OUT ALIVE FROM RUBBLES AS 6.4 MAGNITUDE EARTHQUAKE HITS TAIWAN

A tiny baby was among the over two hundred people brought out alive from rubbles when 6.4 magnitude earthquake hit  Taiwan at 4 a.m. local time.


11 people including a ten year old boy have been confirmed dead. Many people are unaccounted for in the Southern City of Tainan who were celebrating the Chinese New Year.

The earthquake caused a lot of destruction pulling down apartment complexes.

Rescuers pulled out over 200 people from the rubbles of a 17 storey residential complex that collapsed due to the earthquake.

Another 30 are said to be missing or trapped inside the wreckage.
