BREAKING NEWS: MARIA SHARAPOVA BREAKS THE NEWS THAT SHE FAILED A DRUG TEST AT AUSTRALIAN OPEN

Russian Tennis Champion, Maria Sharapova has announced in a press conference on Monday evening that she failed a drug test at the Australian Open and expects to be punished by the international Tennis Federation (ITF).
The drug that was found in her system she says was Meldonium and she takes full responsibility  for it.

Sharapova claims the drug was not performance-enhancing for her and she had no idea it was banned until she got a letter from ITF.

Maria Sharapova has been recently plagued by injuries but despite that she is one of the most popular tennis players in the world with relationships with NIKE, Evans, Porsche and Tag Heuer and her commercials are constantly played on television in United States and she is often seen in adverts in fashion magazines.

Sharapova won the French Open in 2014 and is presently ranked number 7 in the world.
