CAPTURED FEMALE SUICIDE BOMBER IN CAMEROON CLAIMS TO BE ONE OF THE MISSING CHIBOK GIRLS

Two suspected female suicide bombers were recently intercepted by local self-defence forces in northern Cameroon's Limani by the border with Nigeria on Friday.
One of the girls carrying lethal explosives said she was one of the Chibok students abducted by Boko Haram insurgents in 2014.

About 270 students were abdducted by Boko Haram militants from a secondary school in Chibok in Borno State, North Eastern part of Nigeria about 2 years ago.

About 50 of them were able to escape while the rest have not been found till date. Their abduction made a worldwide coverage with the campaign #BringBackOurGirls.

Cameroon authorities are now liasing with Nigerian authorities to confirm if the girl is indeed one of the abducted girls.

Spokesman for President Buhari, Garba Shehu said that the Nigerian government is arranging for the parents of the missing Chibok students to go to Cameroon and identify and confirm if indeed she is one of the Chibok girls.

If she is that will  help crack the puzzle of what happened to the Chibok students.
