NIGERIA: MINISTER OF STATE FOR LABOUR, JAMES OCHOLI DIES IN A FATAL CAR ACCIDENT

The Minister of State for Labour, James Ocholi is reported to have died from a fatal car accident along Abuja-Kaduna Expressway.
Ocholi was heading to Kaduna with his wife, son and aide-de-camp when the accident occurred a few hours ago.

A spokesman for the Federal Road Safety Corp, Bisi Kazeem confirmed the death of the minister to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

The accident involved the minister's car, a Prado Jeep and another Lexus SUV which left  Ocholi's wife in a serious coma.

Ocholi and his son died in the crash. His aide and driver survived the accident.

The Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir-El Rufai took to Facebook to announce the passing away of Ocholi's wife, Blessing who had been in a serious coma after the accident.

Ocholi is from Dekina Local Government area of Kogi State.
