LAGOS STATE GOVERNOR, AMBODE CANCELS RESTRICTION OF MOVEMENT ORDER ON SANITATION DAYS

The Lagos State government through a statement issued by the Commissioner for Environment, Babatunde Adejare had lifted the restriction of movement order on Sanitation Days which comes up every last Saturday of each month.
Adejare stated that Governor Ambode opposes the shutting down of a mega city like Lagos for a period of three hours on Sanitation Days stating that environmental sanitation should be a daily affair and a way of life for Lagos citizens rather than a three-hour lockdown sanitation period.
