South African Olympic athlete, Oscar Pistorius during his trial for the murder of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine's Day three years ago stated that he accidentally shot her thinking she was an intruder.
However forensic experts now claim that the injuries at the back of Reeva match the tip of cricket bat following the emergence of dramatic new evidence.
The marks also seen on ripped and twisted handle suggest that there was a struggle between Oscar and Reeva which backs up prosecution's case that Oscar murdered his girlfriend in a fit of rage.
Brothers Calvin and Thomas Mollett made the claims in a new book, 'Oscar vs The Truth' after studying evidence and conducting independent tests as reported by The Metro.
If this new evidence is confirmed then it tallies with prosecution's case that Oscar Pistorius shot Reeva Steenkamp dead during a late-night row after she locked herself in the toilet cubicle.
