Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari is on a working visit to China. Buhari's visit is aimed at securing greater support from China for development of Nigeria's infrastructure.
Buhari on Tuesday, 12th April took part in his official welcoming ceremony at the Great Hall in Beijing.

President Buhari  was accompanied to the event by Minister of Power, Works & Housing, Babatunde Fashola, Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, Minister of Science & Technology, Ogbonnaya Onu, Governor of Benue State, Dr. Samuel Ortom, Governor of Yobe State, Alhaji Ibrahim Gidam, Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, Governor of Jigawa State, Badaru Abubakar, Governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun.

President Buhari and President Xi Jinpeng witnessed the Signing of Framework Agreement between the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade & Investment of Nigeria represented by Hon. Minister of Industry, Trade & Investment, Okechukwu Enelamah and The National Develoment and Reform Commission (NDRC) of China represented by Chairman of NDRC, Mr. Xu Shaashi.

President Buhari and Presiident  Xi Jinpeng witnessed the Signing of Mandate Letter between Industrial and Commercial Bank of China represented by its Chief Executive, Jiang Jianqing and Central Bank of Nigeria represented by Governor of CBN, Godwin Emefiele regarding China Co-operation and Renminbi Transactions.
