THERE ARE PLANS TO DONATE WWE LEGEND, CHYNA'S BRAIN TO DR. BENNETH OMALU FOR RESEARCH ON CTE

 
WWE legend, Joanie Laurer popularly known as Chyna in the wrestling world died on Thursday at the tender age of 45. There are plans to donate her brain to Nigerian, United States based doctor, Dr. Benneth Omalu for further research on CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy) a neurological deterioration in football players which has also been found in other atthletes outside football.
If you recall, Will Smith played Dr. Benneth Omalu to the teeth in the movie, "Concussion".

Chyna's manager, Anthony Anzaldo told Daily News that plans are underway to donate Chyna's brain for Dr. Omalu's research. He said,

"We want to donate her brain" "We want to know what made Chyna tick".

Anzaldo also told the media outlet that lawyers had called before the wrestling legend, Chyna's death to know if she wanted to sue WWE which she declined but she was interested in the science of it.

Anzaldo said the doctors called to ask if they could have her brain after her death and he said,

 "My hope is that we can do it. I'm in the process of getting permission to speak on behalf of her family to tell the coroner its okay to release it".
