MALCOLM X BLACK CIVIL RIGHTS LEADER REMEMBERED

Black civil rights leader, Malcolm X  was on saturday remembered and celebrated by activists, politicians and actors in NewYork who paid tribute to him.
A ceremony was held at the Malcolm X  & Dr Betty Shabazz Memorial and Educational Center and he was honoured at the site where he was assassinated 50 years ago.
Malcolm X fought for black unity, self -reliance and self respect.
Malcolm X advocated for revolutionary ways to end black inequality in America, however before he died his message of black separatism had been moderated
His daughter at the ceremony called for more recognition for Malcom X than he is presently getting.
