4 AFRICANS UP FOR MAN BOOKER INTERNATIONAL PRIZE WORTH 60,000 POUNDS


Ten Writers out of which four are from Africa are in the running to win MAN Booker International Prize worth 60, 000 pounds.

This prize is given to an author who has either published  fiction in English or have had their work translated into English.
The winner will be made public on May 19th.

There are six nationalities making first appearances in the running for the prize, Libya, Mozambique, Guadeloupe, Hungary, South Africa and Congo Brazzaville.

An authors continued creativity, development and overall contribution to Literature rather than a single work are recognized.

The African authors on the list for the running of MAN Booker International Prize are,
