ANGELINA JOLIE REMOVES HER OVARIES TWO YEARS AFTER DOUBLE MASTECTOMY

Mother of six, Angelina Jolie, 39, wrote a piece in New York Times titled, "Angelina Jolie Pitt: Diary of a Surgery" informing the public that last week she went through a process of removing her ovaries and fallopian tubes.

She will not be able to have anymore kids.

Two years ago, Angelina had a double mastectomy to prevent onset of breast cancer after she found out she was carrying a genetic mutation that greatly increased her chances of having potentially fatal breast cancer.

Her gene mutation shows she has an estimated 87 percent risk of breast cancer and 50 percent risk of ovarian cancer.

Angelina lost her mother , grandmother and aunt to cancer.
