MANDELA'S "LONG WALK TO FREEDOM" SEQUEL TO BE PUBLISHED IN 2016

Pan Macmillan, publishers of Mandela's autobiography, "Long Walk to Freedom" said on Tuesday that a sequel of the book will be published in Britain, South Africa, India, and Australasia in 2016.

The sequel of Mandela's "Long Walk to Freedom" will chronicle posthumously Mandela's time as South Africa's first democratically elected President.

Pan Macmillan said Mandela's Foundation has "a substantial but incomplete personally written draft" of the book  written by Mandela before he died in December 2013 but at the request of his widow, Graca Machel, a group of Mandela's former advisers will complete the sequel.
