BOKO HARAM HEADQUARTERS GWOZA IN NIGERIA 'RETAKEN' BY THE NIGERIAN ARMY

The Nigerian army says it has driven away Boko Haram insurgents from the north eastern town of Gwoza believed to be the terrorists headquarters in Nigeria.
Virtually all the territories occupied by Boko Haram militants have now been 'retaken' from them.

The news of the recapture of Gwoza town comes a day before the presidential elections which was postponed by six weeks in order to tackle the security issues posed by the threat of Boko Haram insurgency.
The initial announcement of the recapture of Gwoza came from a tweet from Nigerian armed forces.
