MICHAEL JORDAN AND OTHER PAST STUDENTS GET A $200 GIFT FROM LEGENDARY BASKETBALL COACH DEAN SMITH

Coach Dean Smith died last month at the age of 83. Before Coach Dean Smith died, he included in his will a gift of $200 to every single member of his team he had coached for the  past 36 years.

The students are to have a night out at his expense. This will be around 180 people. They all received a letter this week from Dean Smith's Trustees with the instruction, "enjoy a dinner out, compliments of Coach Dean Smith"

A former student, Dante Calabria's letter appeared on twitter today.
