Thugs wielding matchets, axes and other dangerous weapons terrorised residents and caused fear in different parts of Lagos including Oshodi, Maryland, Mushin and Costain areas.
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Musiliu Akinsanya who is also one of the leaders of National Union of Road Transport Workers released a statement blaming the Peoples Democratic Party for the crisis.
He urged the media to do an independent investigation on those responsible for the crisis as he would not want to be blamed for it.
