DAVID BECKHAM RANKED AS THE WORLD'S SECOND HIGHEST- EARNING RETIRED SPORTSMAN


David Beckham ,39, has been ranked by Forbes as the second highest earning retired sportsman.

Despite hanging his boots, retirement has proved to be more lucrative for Beckham especially due to his ownership stake in different ventures.

According to Forbes, Beckham made 50.5 million pounds in 2014 despite retiring from football in 2013.

Beckham has several deals to his name some of which include, Adidas, Sky Sports, Breitling watches and Samsung.

Beckham also has partnership with a cosmetics firm Coty, who sell his line of branded perfumes like  "Instinct", a contract which makes  4 million pounds annually for Beckham according to Forbes.

Beckham came second as the highest earning retired sports man with earnings of 50.5million pounds behind Michael Jordan who earned 67million pounds in 2014 according to US Magazine, Forbes.
