FIRST BLACK WOMAN CHOSEN AS JAPAN'S REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE MISS UNIVERSE PAGEANT


Miyamoto Eriana made history as the first black woman to represent Japan for the Miss Universe Pageant.

Miyamoto Eriana is of mixed race and is born to a Black father and a Japanese mother.

Miyamoto grew up in Nagasaki but was educated in America. After graduating she moved back to Japan.

Miyamoto models and has interest in working with motorcycles and heavy tools.

She beat 44 contestants to win the crown.

Congrats Miyamoto, we are proud of you!!!!!!!
