FAYOSE IMPOSES CURFEW IN EKITI STATE AND DESCRIBES BUHARI AS A DOGGED FIGHTER


Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has asked Nigerians to accept the outcome of Saturday's Presidential election in good faith.

Governor Fayose imposed a 7.30pm to 6am curfew in Ekiti State starting yesterday, Tuesday to prevent violence that may arise after the declaration of the final results of the presidential elections.

Fayose described General Buhari , the APC candidate who won the presidential election as a dogged fighter and through his Special Assistant on Public Communications and Media, Lere Olayinka hailed the resilience and commitment of Buhari.

Fayose asked all Nigerians irrespective of their ethnic, religious and political affiliations to respect the outcome of the election in the interest of peace, progress and development of the country.

Governor Fayose is  chieftain of the ruling party, PDP.
