NIGERIA DECIDES 2015: APC WINS OGUN STATE GOVERNORSHIP ELECTIONS

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the current Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun who contested under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of  Saturday's governorship elections held in the state.
Professor Duro Oni, INEC returning officer declared the results in Abeokuta.
APC Candidate, Governor Amosun won 11 out of the 20 local government areas in the state.
Amosun polled a total of 306,988 votes out of the 578,378 votes cast in the election to beat the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Mr. Gboyega Isiaka to the second position.
