The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the Peoples Democratic Candidate, Darius Dickson Ishaku the winner of the governorship election held in Taraba state after the conclusion of the run-off elections held on Saturday, 25th April.
The Returning Officer of Taraba State, Professor Ahmed Kyari declared Ishaku as the Governor-elect at INEC's office in Jalingo on Sunday.
Darius Dickson Ishaku secured 369,318 votes as against his closest rival, Aisha Jummai Alhassan of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who got 275,984 votes.
