FORBES FIVE WEALTHIEST HIP HOP ARTISTS

Forbes has unveiled its list of Hip Hop's five wealthiest artists for 2015 and the top spot was a battle between Dr. Dre and Diddy.
Dr. Dre sold off his Beats by Dre headphone line to Apple and pocketed $500million after taxes to bring his total networth to $700million.  However, Diddy still took the top spot with an estimated networth of $735million according to Forbes.
Diddy's empire includes huge stake in his TV network, Revolt, clothing line, Sean John, Alkaline water brand, Aquahydrate and new tequila, Deleon while Dre's networth is credited to the amount he received from Apple's acquisition of Beats.
Jay Z comes third with an estimated networth of $550,000 from his assets such as Roc Nation and his Armand De Brignac champagne brand.
50 Cent comes fourth with estimated worth of $155 million via stakes in the SMS Audio headphone line, Effen Vodka and Frigo underwear.
Birdman takes the 5th position with $150million from his success with Cash Money Record empire. The estimated value of his assets came down from $160million in 2014 to $150million following rumours that many of his artists are leaving him.
