TRIBUNAL GIVES PDP LAGOS STATE GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE, AGBAJE GO AHEAD TO INSPECT ELECTION MATERIALS

Jimi Agbaje, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, for the Lagos state governorship election which took place on 11th April . 2015 dragged the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) and Akinwunmi Ambode, the APC candidate who won the election to the tribunal citing some irregularities observed during the election which contravened the provisions of INEC and approved guidelines for election.
The Lagos State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal  sitting in Ikeja on Tuesday, 5th May granted leave to Jimi Agbaje to inspect all polling documents and devices used in the conduct of the gubernatorial elections in Lagos State.
The tribubal also ordered INEC to provide certified true copies of all polling documents including printed data in each polling units from the card reader machines for inspection by Jimi Agbaje.
It will be recalled that Jimi Agbaje of the PDP lost the election to Akinwunmi Ambode of the APC in theLagos State givernorship election held on 11th April, 2015.
