FOUR BRITISH-NIGERIANS IN THE RACE FOR PARLIAMENT AS BRITAIN DECIDES TODAY

Four British politicians of Nigerian parentage are vying for parliamentary seats as Britain on Thursday goes to the polls to elect the next Prime Minister and Members of Parliament.
They are Chuka Umunna, Chi Onwurah and Kate Osamor all of the opposition party, Labour party.
The fourth person is Helen Grant who is of the ruling Conservative party.
Both Chi Onwurah and Chuka Umunna are incumbent Members of Parliament for NewCastle and Streatham (SE London) respectively and Helen is the incumbent MP for Maidstone and The Weald.
They are all seeking to retain their seats.
Kate Osamor is however making her debut and is a Practice Manager at a doctor's surgery in North London. Her mother is a staunch Labour and community activist.
Kate is vying to be MP of Edmonton.
All four Nigerians are the ones people hope to win their various seats.
