NIGERIA: PRESIDENT-ELECT, BUHARI ASKS ESCORTS TO ALWAYS OBEY TRAFFIC RULES

The President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday ordered all his official escorts and security detail attached to him to always obey traffic rules.
The Director Media and Publicity, APC Presidential Council, Mallam Garba Shehu in a statement said this is a demonstration of Buhari's leadership style.
Buhari was quoted as saying that obedience to law would be a guiding philosophy of his administration, adding that without leadership by example, the ordinary citizens would become copycats of the lawlessness of their leaders.
Buhari also said, arrogance of power, lawlessness and disregard for the rights and convenience of fellow citizens will have no place in his government.
