HIV POSITIVE DAD SHARES PHOTO WITH HIV NEGATIVE FAMILY TO HELP STOP THE STIGMA

34 year old Andrew Pulsipher was infected prenatally and has been HIV positive all his life. Both parents died of the disease and he was not treated until he was 8 year.
Andrew grew up with relatives and rarely divulged his status in order to have a normal childhood.
Today, the virus is undetectable in Andrew's blood as his medications are working brilliantly.
He took to Facebook to post photos of him and his wife and 3 children aged 5, 3 and 1 all who are HIV negative and wrote,
"This has taken me a very long time to be comfortable with (almost 34 years). I know HIV has a negative stigma but that it doesn't have to and I want to help change that. It is treatable disease and you can live a normal life with it. Iam proof of that".
