PHOTOS OF THE TWO GUNMEN WHO CARRIED OUT AN ATTACK ON ANTI-ISLAM ART CONTEST IN GARLAND, TEXAS

The two gunmen who shot at a  security guard at the American Freedom Defence Initiative event in Garland, Texas where people were offered $10,000 for the best caricature of the Prophet Mohammed have been identified as Elton Simpson, 30, and his roomate, Nadis Soofi,34.
They were gunned down by a police officer.
Simpson had earlier been convicted of lying to Federal Agents about his plan of travelling to Somalia five years ago but a judge ruled it could not be proved he was going to join a terror group. He was placed on probation.
FBI agents on Monday spent hours searching the Phoenix apartment where they lived.
