EGYPTIAN COURT UPHOLDS FORMER PRESIDENT MOHAMMED MORSI'S DEATH SENTENCE

An Egyptian court has upheld the death sentence imposed on ousted ex-President Mohammed Morsi over 2011 mass jailbreak.
The death sentence which was initially passed in May was confirmed after Egypt's highest religious figure, the Grand Mufti gave his opinion.
Mohammed Morsi outside of the death sentence was also sentenced to life imprisonment for spying on behalf of Palestinian Islamist group, Hamas.
