EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR TO PLAY IN AFCON 2017 QUALIFIER

Togo's striker, Emmanuel Adebayor, 31, will play against Liberia on Sunday for Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier despite joining Togo's national team late.
Emmanuel missed Monday's friendly against Ghana which got new coach, Tom Saintfiet angry over his lack of discipline.
Adebayor however told BBC Sport, " the match against Ghana was not very important. I told the coach I would not play".
Adebayor said he was preparing for the match against Liberia as the match was important for Togo to qualify for the tournament in Gabon.
His words, "Iam feeling well. I have never abandoned the national team. Iam Togolese and I have always defended the colours of national flag".
Coach Saintfiet has confirmed Adebayor, Kossi Agassa and Floyd Ayite will return. He said,
"I never had a problem with any player, they were only not in camp so I could not select them. Now they are all at work I can let them play"
