GEORGIA MAN KILLED BY TIGER WHICH ESCAPED FROM THE ZOO AFTER TORRENTIAL RAIN IN CAPITAL TBILISI

Several wild animals including bears, wolves and a hippo ran amok through Georgia's state capital, Tbilisi after torrential rain.
A white tiger which was amongst the escaped animals from the zoo during the flooding has killed  a man.
The victim was the owner of a textile plant and is said to have been killed when he and three of his colleagues went to the company's warehouse where the tiger was hiding.
He is thought to have been mauled on the throat while a second victim was bitten in the arm but survived.
Interior Ministry says the tiger has been killed and that the white tiger was so dirty after the flooding it was thought to be a lion.
